Sale of Ultra Pack to Mondi Packaging

Financial advisory to the shareholders of a Polish packaging producer on its disposal to Mondi Packaging Poland B.V., one of the leading packaging producers in Europe

On 31st August 2007 Magellan Pro Equity Fund I S.A., a fund managing investment portfolio of Michal Solowow, completed the sale transaction of Ultra Pack S.A. to Mondi Packaging Poland B.V.

Ultra Pack was founded by Michal Solowow in 2003, on the basis of the assets of former Big Carton company. Since then the company has greatly benefited from a thorough restructuring process and significant investments contributed by its main shareholder, which enabled Ultra Pack to optimize utilization of production capacity and ensured a period of dynamic development.

Following the decision to divest Ultra Pack shares, a purchase offer from Mondi Packaging was selected as part of a competitive auction process. The purchaser represents one of the largest international groups active in manufacturing of high quality packaging solutions, corrugated board and paper sacks.

FIDEA acted as the sole financial advisor to Magellan Pro Equity Fund I in the Ultra Pack sale process.
