On March 20 2012 AHP Inwestycje sp. z o.o., a company controlled by American Heart of Poland S.A., purchased 50%+1 of shares in Carint Scanmed Sp. z o.o. from Scanmed S.A. Carint Scanmed offers comprehensive diagnostic and hospital cardiology treatment in the Hospital of Saint Raphael in Cracow.

Equity value of Carint Scanmed was set at PLN 32 million. In 2011 Carint Scanmed recorded PLN 13.5 million of revenues and PLN 4.1 million EBITDA.
