On August 21st, 2008, Agros Nova, one of the leading Polish companies specialising in fruit and vegetable processing, signed an agreement to purchase two domestic companies operating in the food sector: Kotlin and Elbro from the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla Brands International. 

The transaction, whose value was not disclosed, shall be finalised after the concentration is cleared by the Polish antimonopoly authorities (UOKiK).

Robert Niewiadomski, President of Agros Nova, stressed that the acquisition of Kotlin and Elbro formed an important milestone in the development of his company.

Marek Dojnow expressed a great satisfaction that one year after the successful advisory to Agros Nova on the buy-out of the company’s shares from Enterprise Investors completed in February 2007 FIDEA has yet again assisted Agros Nova in another strategic transaction.
