Acquisition of Scanmed Multimedis S.A by Life Healthcare

Financial advisory to Life Healthcare Group on taking control over Scanmed Multimedis S.A., a leading company providing multispecialty inpatient and outpatient care in Poland

FIDEA acted as an exclusive financial advisor to Life Healthcare Group in taking control over Scanmed Multimedis SA (“Scanmed Multimedis”), one of the leading private healthcare service provider in Poland.

Life Healthcare Group through its wholly owned subsidiary, Dadley Investments Sp. z o.o., acquired 80,65% stake in Scanmed Multimedis from Black Lion NFI S.A. and other minority investors. Scanmed Multimedis operates both in inpatient and outpatient care segment through: a 130 bed multidisciplinary acute hospital in Krakow, a 22 bed specialist ophthalmological hospital and 23 medical centers, which offer outpatient care and diagnostic services in Poland’s main cities, including: Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan, Wroclaw, Katowice and Krakow. The acquisition of Scanmed Multimedis is part of Life Healthcare’s international expansion plans, which already includes a 26% interest in Max Healthcare (a hospital operator in India).
