Acquisition of voestalpine Stahlhandel by Złomrex

Financial advisory to Złomrex S.A., leading Polish steel group, on the acquisition of voestalpine Stahlhandel, the CEE retail distribution operations of the Austrian voestalpine Group

On the 28th of March 2007 Zlomrex completed the acquisition of a 74.9% share in voestalpine Stahlhandel, the steel distribution business of the Austrian voestalpine Group.

The business’ distribution network covers Central and Southern part of Europe, with annual revenues amounting to approximately EUR 300m (PLN 1.4bn).

FIDEA acted as exclusive financial adviser to Zlomrex on the transaction.
