FIDEA acted as an exclusive financial advisor to Sonko Sp. z o.o., a leading producer of rice, groats and dry bread products in Poland, and its shareholders on a sale to a strategic investor – Bounty Brands, a South African consumer brands group.

The transaction is the first international acquisition and first food deal for Bounty Brands, a portfolio company of Coast2Coast. Sonko produces under the Sonko, Risana, Albaris and PopCool brands, and in limited scope under private label contracts for major Polish retailers. The Company is the market leader in rice, rice cakes and crisp bread in Poland, and a manufacturer of many innovative products in the fast-growing healthy snacks category. Its products are exported to 22 countries.
