In January 2017 Kewpie Corp. acquired Mosso Kwaśniewscy sp.j., one of the leading producers of condiments in Poland. FIDEA acted as a sole financial adviser to Mosso Kwaśniewscy sp.j.

Mosso is one of the leading producers of mayonnaise in Poland. The product portfolio includes vegetable oil, horseradish, ketchup, mustard and sauces. Founded in 1985, the company is one of the longest-operating producers of condiments in the Polish market. Mosso is uniquely integrated with full value chain, starting from rapeseed procurement, crushing, proprietary edible oil refinery to the production of highest quality mayonnaise and other condiments.

Kewpie Corp. is the leading producer of mayonnaise and dressings in Japan, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Product portfolio also include vinegar, egg products, ready-made meals, baby food and jams. The company also offers fine chemicals for the food, cosmetics and medical industries as well as foodstuff distribution. Acquisition of Mosso will be the first M&A deal of Kewpie Corp. in Europe.
