Polkomtel acquired stake in Liberty
Polkomtel S.A. (“Polkomtel”) and Telera Holding B.V., concluded a contract on the 6th of March, on the acquisition of a 38.42% interest in Liberty Poland S.A. (“Liberty”) by Polkomtel S.A. The transaction is connected with an exit of Innova 98/L.P. fund from its investment in Liberty. Innova 98/L.P. is managed by Innova Capital (“Innova Capital”). As a result, Telera Holding B.V. and Polkomtel S.A. will jointly control 100% of Liberty shares.

FIDEA – Nr 1 Financial Advisor in Poland in 2007
According to Forbes magazine, FIDEA was number one advisor for mergers and acquisitions in Poland in 2007. This was the record year for mergers and acquisitions in Poland. The transactions value reached almost PLN 40 billion.

“Changes in businesses of the richest” – Forbes 01/2008
In the 01/2008 issue of Forbes magazine there is an article “Changes in businesses of the richest” describing changes that took place in the richest Poles’ portfolios in 2007. From transactions where FIDEA acted as advisor merger of Kofola and Hoop, sale of Ultra Pack and acquisition of Voestalpine Stalhandel by Złomrex were mentioned. Hoop S.A. signed the merger plan with the Kofola Group
On the 27th of November 2007 a merger plan between Hoop S.A. and Kofola SPV Sp. z o.o., the owner of 100% shares at Kofola Holding A.S. was signed. According to the plan, in exchange for the transfer of all assets of Kofola SPV to Hoop, KSM Investment S.A., as the sole owner of Kofola SPV, will be issued new shares representing a total of 49.99% in Hoop’s equity after the merger.

Cersanit takes over 5 companies producing and distributing ceramic tiles in Russia
On 9th October 2007 Cersanit S.A. acquired the leading Russian ceramic tiles producer and distributor Lira Group, embracing five operating entities: Avtis, Zolotoy Iris, Tiles Trading, Lira Trade and Frianovo Ceramic Factory (“Lira Group”).

Złomrex closed the acquisition of steel trading arm of Stalexport S.A. for a total consideration of PLN 122.5m
On 1st October 2007 Złomrex S.A. successfully closed the acquisition of Stalexport’s division involved in production and distribution of steel products.
